Journal for Critical Animal Studies
The Journal for Critical Animal Studies is the original founding journal in the field of critical animal studies. Now in its tenth year the journal continues to promote, encourage, support and enable submissions that constructively extends and deepens the critical animal studies literature.
A significant number of articles published in the Journal for Critical Animal Studies have been authored by academics and activists across the world who operate at the very cutting edge of the critical animal studies field. We welcome submissions from across a broad range of academic, activist and policy making communities.

Journal for Critical Urban Education
Critical Urban Education is the field of study dedicated to deconstruction of the modern educational school system, or the school industrial complex, based on domination and to reconstruct education by students and community members on the values of peace, inclusion, and social justice. Critical Urban Education argues that “urban schooling” is a socially constructed geography that proliferates gross inequities and discrimination, which are carried out by segregating children and youth by warehousing, surveilling, and imprisoning them based on race, culture, ethnicity, class, gender, sexuality, and disability.
